Terry Soil and Water Conservation District

Farm Tour for Kidz gives fifth graders the opportunity to learn about farming operations in Terry County. 

 

In 2025, students went to T&S Produce and learned all about pumpkins and watermelons.  At Mason Becker Farm,  they learned from Reed Lovorn about cotton and peanuts. Their tour ended at the Martin Farm where Kirk Martin talked to them about agricultural water and how cotton strippers work.
