Terry Soil & Water Conservation District

Each year, Terry Soil & Water Conservation District's clerk, Jackie Pate, shows a presentation related to soil and water conservation to local 4th and 5th graders. The theme of the presentation is chosen by the Texas Soil & Water Conservation State Office. Once the presentation is over, the students are challenged to create an orginial poster that conveys the conservation theme. The posters are then judged by the district and the winners can compete at the state level.
