Agricultural Career Expo
The Terry Soil & Water Conservation District in collaboration with the agriculture teachers, schools, local businesses and other organizations created 'Agriculture Career Expo to introduce different career opportunities in agriculture to eighth grade students in Terry County.
The program starts with a tour of farms, ranches, and ag related businesses.
After our tour we have lunch and educational booths, as well as a speaker.

Terry County SWCD thanks the following businesses for their time and dedication and sharing their businesses with the Terry County Eighth Graders.
Students learned about large equipment operations, training opportunities, jobs, development of peanut varieties, cotton production, harvesting and processing.
